National Theatre
The Royal National Theatre designed by Denys Lasdun was opened by the Queen in 1976 and is located in the South Bank area. It includes three theatres: "The Oliver", the biggest one with a capacity of 1160 seats, the middle one "The Lyttelton" and the smallest "The Cottesloe". The theatre presents a wide range of plays for every taste, ranging from Shakespeare musicals to contemporary plays.
The Young Vic
If you wish to see young and ambitious artists The Young Vic is the perfect place. The theatre is located in the South Bank area of London, in the London Borough of Lambeth. The Young Vic was established in 1970 and rebuilt in 2004. Finborough Theatre
Founded in 1980 the Finborough Theatre in the Earls Court presents new British writing, UK premiers of overseas dramas and music theatre. What is unique about the Finborough Theatre, is that it shows rarely seen 19th and 20th century plays.
